Mid-States Corridor is a Transformational Investment in Our Region’s Future
The Mid States Corridor will be the force to drive economic growth for Dubois County and allow businesses, small and large, to tap into the resources, workforce, and quality of life amenities that have built our community today.
Currently, Dubois County is the most populous and most prosperous county in Indiana without a major interstate running though our boundaries. Unlocking a North and South connection to I-69 near Bloomington, opening the door to Central and Northern Indiana and up to Chicago; or continuing south to Bowling Green or Nashville – this corridor will connect Dubois County to major economic hubs benefiting business and community alike.
Imagine a region with safer roads for our families, more prosperous for business, and more accessible to visitors to share all the benefits that Dubois County has to offer. With a direct North-South connection, our community will thrive with over $1 Billion in new spending per year between Dubois and Spencer County, expanded access for jobs and tourism, and an estimated 7,000 new jobs created – Dubois County is primed for success.
The Mid-States Corridor will not only benefit Dubois and Spencer Counties but will also drive progress across Perry, Warrick, Pike, Daviess, Crawford, Orange, Martin, Lawrence, Greene, and Monroe Counties, making Southern Indiana a powerhouse for business, logistics, and tourism.
